MEN'S CUP - AN EVER SEEN COMPETITION

Saturday Aprile 11, 12 male teams of synchronized swimming coming from Europe, Ukraine and Japan will compete in Milan, Cozzi swimming pool, starting from 14:30 up to 18:30.
Patroness of all the events in Men's Cup 3 is the beloved italian synchro champion Giovanna Burlando.

MEN'S CUP 3 - AN UNEXAMPLED ROUNDTABLE

Thursday April 9th starting from 14:30 Men's Cup 3 will held a roundtable in the Cozzi swimming pool, to give a fair and qualified evidence of what men synchronized swimming actually is and can be.

INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR MEN SYNCHRONYZED SWIMMING

During Men's Cup 3 the International Committee for Men Synchronized Swimming will be offically launched.

Since its beginnings, this committe will give the measure of its vitality, giving a significant contribution to the sports world and culture.

ONE SPECIAL TIP...

Synchronized swimming was invented in Germany at the end of the 19th century as a men’s discipline. Back then it was called ‘artistic swimming’.
Only a decade later, women started to participate in competitions.
The advent of Hollywood and of variety shows has reinforced the image of synchronized swimming as being an elite sport exclusively for female variety shows.
